Add extra life to an office environment.
The Green Cities team was tasked with greening up a multi-storey corporate office space for its employees. Amongst its desk-spaces were placed planter boxes, allowing for three to four plants per section. A particular design feature of the space was the limited access to irrigation and the fluctuating temperatures as controlled by the internal heating and cooling. To best meet these environmental factors each plant was planted in individual pots and placed in reservoir trays enclosed in each planter box. A selection of plants including Cast Iron, Rhapis Palm and Zanzibar Gem were used due to their low-water tolerance and capacity to thrive inside. It's great to see the staff also have some fun with their green spaces!
